04 Private House - Tunbridge Wells

This was the decoration & repair to a large private house in Tunbridge Wells. that had not been decorated for many years. Large areas of the rendering and many of the detailed areas such as the cills, window heads, quoins etc had failed and needed to be hacked of and reinstated.

The remaining areas were all power washed treated with a fungicide solution and a stabilizing coat applied before redecoration in Dulux weathersheild masonry paints.

The woodwork of the house was also in very poor condition and most areas were taken back to bare timber and with a combination of replacement timbers and high durability epoxy fillers they were restored to good condition before being decorated in the full Dulux weathersheild flexible paint system.

Other work carried out

We also undertook the replacement of broken glazing, the servicing of the metal guttering including the opening and resealing of all the joints and the complete replacement of the timber balustrade to the elevated decking at the rear. Pigeon deterrent wires and spikes were also fitted to the building

The duration of these works was approximately 4 weeks.
