02 Burswood Church
This was the complete redecoration of the church at Burswood place groombridge. It involved the use of specialist low tensile moisture vapour permeable coatings for the walls which is necessary for this type of structure.
Many areas of gilt were applied to plaster mouldings, joinery and artefacts.
The cast iron radiators had many layers of failed paint stripped and then spray finished.
We also undertook the reinstatement to damaged areas of the intricately decorated ceiling.
Duration
This was done to a tight timescale of 4 weeks. We also had to work closely with other trades such as electricians as the whole church needed re-wiring. We managed to complete this project with a few days to spare.
